Mechanical Fitter

Your new company A successful family run business with 2 sites in NI. They provide the highest quality products and services for disabled drivers and passengers whilst maintaining industry leading customer services. Your new role As Adaptations Fitter, you will be expected to carry yourself with the professionalism and integrity reflected in the duties and set an example for all your colleagues. You will be accountable for H&S requirements in your work area, ensuring you work in a safework environment through maintaining H&S procedure and ensuring staff work in a safe manner, correct operation of all power tools and ensure all tools are looked after and maintained, build adapted vehicles for disabled drivers, fit Motability adaptations,i.e., hand controls, electronic and left foot accelerators, steering aids, pedal guards, boot hoists and roof top boxes to a high standard, Hours Mon - Thurs 8am - 5pm and Fri until 4pm What you'll need to succeed Ideally you will have a full Driving Licence, mechanical Fitting experience, basic wiring knowledge, highly organised, confident, with a positive can-do attitude and Auto electrical experience is advantageous.
