Accounts Assistant

Kinlan Brickwork Ltd are a successful Brickwork subcontractor based in Wallasey with numerous projects across the Northwest and South Yorkshire.

Due to continued growth and expansion, we are looking to hire and Accounts Assistant with an immediate start, to help assist the Accounts Manager with the day-to-day tasks in the Accounts department. All training will be given to ensure you can do the job to the best of your ability.

Duties and Responsibilities;

  • Receiving and processing of purchase invoices
  • Ensuring invoices are costed accurately to the correct projects
  • Distributing invoices for signing off
  • Maintaining accurate reconciliations of customer and supplier accounts
  • Dealing with any supplier/invoice queries in a fast and efficient manner
  • Maintaining accurate paper and electronic records
  • Bank reconciling
  • Any other duties as required

Experience;

  • Previous experience of working in a fast-pace office environment
  • To be computer literature and have experience of using Microsoft Office packages
  • Self-motivated, methodical and organised
  • Excellent ability to multi-task
  • Team player
  • Knowledge of SAGE systems would be helpful although training can be provided

Salary : £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
